MISSION
? Drive the development of new simulation methodologies replicating tire performance tests.
? Provide technical support to tire design by being responsible for the simulation analysis of related structures, material testing, development and optimization of simulation methods.
RESPONSIBILITIES
? Daily simulation and analysis of tire specifications
? Material testing and parameter identification
? Research and improvement of tire simulation accuracy
? Conduct simulation research under the guidance of FEA experts
ACTIVITIES
? Development of new FEA methodologies to mimic experimental tests
? Correlation and close-the-loop analyses in view of improving FEA processes
? Tire structure simulation research, supporting design engineers to develop and improve new products
? Rubber and cord material characterization for FEA
? Use Python and Matlab to develop pre/post-processing programs
PRE-REQUIREMENTS
? At least bachelor degree in mechanical or related engineering field
? Min. 4 years of experience with FEM prediction of tires
? Be familiar with simulation analysis software, including Abaqus, Hypermesh
? Programming knowledge, preferably using Python
? English written and spoken ability (CET-6 and above)
